Edgbarrow School buys in external, impartial careers guidance from Adviza. This year we have updated our package, this means that students, parent/carers and school staff all have access to a designated members portal. Within the portal, you will find lots of resources to help you support your child’s careers journey including eCLIPS, webchat, details on upcoming events including open days, webinars as well as labour market information (LMI).

You can access the portal in the following way:

  • Go to www.adviza.org.uk/careers-guidance-for-you this will automatically log you into the members only portal.

  • This will take you to the homepage where you can explore the following tabs: Students, Parents, Teachers, Events, eCLIPS, Webchat and News.
(To access eCLIPS you will need the school password which is displayed in school; or you can email tutors, HOYs, Careers Manager and our Adviza Careers Coach, Lorna Glass.)

Under the Parents tab, you will find Advice for Parents, a link to the eCLIPs Careers Resource (this contains careers information on over 1400 jobs plus advice on study and careers choices), Webchat (a live chat to Careers Advisors available Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm), plus up to date information on the labour market in our area.
