Students cannot attend school if they or someone in your house is exhibiting any symptoms, such as a persistent cough, fever or loss/change in your normal sense of smell/taste.

On return to school students should:

  • Wear the correct school uniform.
  • Ensure they have the equipment for all their lessons.
  • Wash their hands before leaving home.
  • On arrival at school students should proceed straight to their designated zone and wait for instructions.
  • Students must put on masks prior to entering buildings and ensure these are worn at all times while inside the buildings and classrooms (exemptions will apply).
  • Students will enter buildings one at a time and use the hand sanitiser.
  • Students must go directly to their allocated classrooms and should avoid contact with handrails and door surrounds (doors will be open).
  • The one-way system must be followed.

In the classroom:

  • Students must remain in their allocated seat and observe the following safety measures:
    • Students cannot share or borrow equipment from other students or the teacher.
    • They may bring a drink to school.  Please take empty bottles home.
    • If students cough or sneeze, please do this into a tissue or elbow and use the lidded bin provided.
    • At the end of the lesson, students will be asked to wipe down their desk.
    • If they are using a school computer/device they will be asked to wipe down the surface before and after use.
    • Students should exit following the one-way system when dismissed by the teacher.

Break/Lunch:

  • Before eating students should wash their hands or use sanitiser.
  • At break, students must remain in their allocated zone.
  • At lunch, students will have the opportunity to use the canteen at set times and then return to designated areas.

At the end of the day, students should go straight home and must not gather.

Our students consistently make us proud of their behaviour and attitude around school. We do not expect any poor behaviour or students to deliberately or persistently break social-distancing rules and safety measures.  If this does occur, they will be sanctioned as everyone’s safety must be our first priority.

We are delighted to be able to welcome the students back to school and look forward to their return.
