During year 9 the main focus for students will be their Key Stage 4 Option Choices. Students will attend an internal presentation by a member of the Senior Leadership Team focusing on the choices specifically available to Edgbarrow Students.
During the spring term, students will continue to focus on their option choices within their PSHEE lessons. They will spend time working on a new software package “Steps online”, a magazine style resource which supports students as they progress through the Options process. Students will work through a range of activities and self-assessments with a variety of outcomes including finding and using resources and networks, which enables them to further identify their learning styles, personal skills and qualities, gain experience and knowledge of the world of work and support them in their learning choices.
We have an extensive careers library which is located within the main library at Edgbarrow.
